8.Get a sense of control in your life
It may sound silly to you but it really makes a difference. We need to have a sense of routine and stability in our lives (to a certain degree), otherwise our subconsciousness bugs us and makes us feel down and, well… out of control. You don’t need to figure out your whole future, solve your family’s problems, or plan colleges for your kids to get that (false) sense of control! Organize something even if it’s small! I told you it was going to sound silly but there are actual studies that list numerous advantages of organizing your desk drawers, kitchen cabinets, closets, or other parts of your house. This will not only make you feel productive when you have a blue day but also bring more benefits such as peace and tranquility to your mind.
