6. Schedule your day and plan ahead
I don’t know if it happens to you but my shitty days usually happen when I don’t have things planned. I may have a million things to do or on my mind but nothing prioritized or scheduled. If you plan your day a little bit you’ll see that you can be so much more productive and you can really accomplish great things. My biggest problem is internet, especially Facebook, Pinterest, and blogs I follow. I know that if I sit down and open my laptop before I get the important things done, nothing gets done – NOTHING! The hours fly by so fast and the next thing I know I have to pick up Noah from the daycare… lovely. So try to write down things to do or set time-frames for yourself. I tried that the other day and it was amazing . For example I leave Noah at daycare at 8:30a.m. so from 8:45-9:30 I do house chores. Put some up beat music on and during this timeframe do things in the house. Whether it’s preparing lunch, changing sheets, doing laundry or dusting, during this time just do that – anything house oriented. Then i.e. 9:30-10:30 WORKOUT (an hour is plenty enough for a good work out! I drop off Noah in sports clothes so the only thing I need to do before workout is grab a bottle of water. After that a quick shower and you’ve accomplished more than you would repinning cute dresses and new possible hair bobs. After that I open my laptop and get some real work done! 🙂 ok and maybe a little bit of fun social networking.
