4.Eat breakfast (or not)
Just recently I found out (due to lack of time in the morning) that skipping breakfast makes me last all the way till lunch without wanting to chew my arm off! Before I thought that I ALWAYS had to have breakfast otherwise I couldn’t function. I discovered that I was wrong during the first days of my child’s daycare when I didn’t have the schedule figured out and was running around like crazy all morning – the first thing I could put in my mouth was at 11:30 a.m and I really wasn’t that hungry. Before I would’ve eaten breakfast around 7-8 a.m. and be hungry again at 11 a.m. Now I drink a glass of warm water with a drop of lemon oil first thing in the morning, then a cup of slique tea around 11 a.m. and I am really not hungry! So I started reading a little bit about this whole phenomenon because grandma used to always say “breakfast is the most important meal of the day!” and actually, to my surprise, there aren’t many studies done to confirm that. In fact it seems it can be good for you to skip the first meal or to fast every once in a while. But do whatever makes YOU happy!
